Early on, at the age of two, Becca began displaying a passion for makeup when she broke into her grandmother’s lipstick stash and proceeded to apply lipstick to herself and the vanity.
Since then, she has gone on to spend her youth consulting with friends, colleagues, and even strangers in a non-professional capacity about all things skin and make-up related. Make-up and skin care are truly a passion.
Becca Braucht - Edmondson
Originally from Oklahoma, her career history includes editing for an academic ornithological journal, and teaching English at the secondary and post-secondary levels. In 2008 she completed a Master’s in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) at Oklahoma City University.
It wasn’t until a bout with basal cell carcinoma, and a strong desire to jump ship that Becca made a move to follow her bliss and pursue her life-long love of make-up. And that is precisely what she did. In June 2012, she packed up her things and moved herself and her son to Denver to enter the dual spa program at Aveda Institute; studying esthiology, make-up, spa and massage therapies.
A “Jill of all trades,” Becca enjoys creating, and considers herself “crafty” in terms of how she approaches design and construction. She has worked in diverse media, from silver-smithing, to collage and found item art. She is currently working on a line of vintage inspired, and found item jewelry under the same FETCH name.
